FTSE 100 expected to jump after Fed delays QE taper

British investors are expected to send the FTSE 100 sharply higher on Thursday following the surprise decision by the US Federal Reserve to refrain from slowing the pace of its $85bn-a-month (£53bn) quantitative easing programme.
